About the Author

Natashia Curtin grew up in a remote Yolngu community in Arnhem Land, NT, before finishing high school in Papua New Guinea and then going to university in Melbourne. She worked as a designer for many years before chasing her dream of creating picture books.

Natashia's books include the CBCA 2025 notable book Just Like You, Vernon the Penguin and the Mini and Milo series (written by Venita Dimos). Married with two lanky teenage boys, Natashia likes coaching basketball, boogie-boarding and reading fantasy novels in her spare time.
