Stitching and Strolling by Mayuko Takeuchi, Kenjie Oikawa is a picture book that shares the joy of craftsmanship for children and adults alike.

Durability, quality, and transmission are values that have guided the creation of Hermès objects since 1837; values that Hermès aspires to share with the youngest generation. For this edition, Hermès has commissioned 100% ORANGE, the acclaimed creator duo known for their numerous picture and children's books. With their artisanal approach to graphic design and illustration, they have crafted a story that encapsulates the meaning of craftsmanship, aiming to pass on the essence of Hermès to the next generation.

The joyous story of Ostampo Stetetcchi expresses the Maison's unique artisanal savoir-faire through a delightful narrative:

As a craftsman skilfully masters tools and materials in a small saddlery shop, bringing creations to life, a dog enters with a special request. Gently and kindly, the craftsman works to fulfil the dog's earnest needs. With joy, the dog invites the craftsman for a walk, and as they stroll, they encounter animals of various kinds. A little bit of magic, combined with the craftsman's hands and tools, is all it takes to grant their wishes one by one. With perfectly crafted creations, the animals are delighted by this magic.

  • The Iliad
When Emily Wilson's translation of The Odyssey appeared in 2017—revealing the ancient poem in a contemporary idiom that was "fresh, unpretentious and lean" (Madeline Miller, Washington Post)—critics lauded it as "a revelation" (Susan Chira, New York Times) and "a cultural landmark" (Charlotte Higgins, Guardian) that would forever change how Homer is read in English. Now Wilson has returned with an...
