Skip·Beat!, Vol. 8 explores Kyoko’s journey as her heart is broken, leading her to realise that revenge is best served in the spotlight.
Kyoko Mogami followed her true love Sho to Tokyo, supporting him as he pursued a career as an idol. However, now that he's famous, he's casting her aside. Determined not to suffer in silence, Kyoko plans to get her sweet revenge by surpassing Sho in showbiz.
Kyoko's opportunity to exact her revenge isn't going as planned. Her anger is so overwhelming that she forgets she's supposed to be acting and attempts to throttle Sho for real. Yet, this is not her only dilemma. Despite everything, Sho still believes he owns Kyoko, body and soul, while his manager grows anxious that Kyoko might actually be capturing his heart!

About the Author
Yoshiki Nakamura is originally from Tokushima Prefecture. She started drawing manga in elementary school, which eventually led to her 1993 debut of Yume de Au yori Suteki (Better than Seeing in a Dream) in Hana to Yume magazine. Her other works include the basketball series Saint Love, MVP wa Yuzurenai (Can't Give Up MVP), Blue Wars and Tokyo Crazy Paradise, a series about a female bodyguard in 2020 Tokyo.
