About the Author

Mina Hasman is a practising architect, an environmental engineer, and a strong advocate for addressing climate change. She challenges the norms and contributes to the wider climate change, sustainability, wellbeing, and equity debate, as well as actions in her role as the Sustainability Lead at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, a subject matter expert at numerous international organisations and as a tutor at various academic institutions.

Passionate about education, collaboration and co-creation, Hasman is the founder of the global, transdisciplinary initiative, the Climate Framework, whose mission is to upskill and build collective capacity, across the built environment sector and related academia, for climate action. The taxonomy of the Framework was officially adopted by the Royal Institute of British Architects in 2020, to formulate their β€˜Climate Literacy Knowledge Schedule’, which this book is structured around.
