French designer Patrick Norguet has an atypical background. His work in product design, fashion, and architecture draws on the legacy of Nordic design, harnessing a sense of colours, elegant purity, and a steadfast quest for comfort.

His career took a turn in 2000 when Giulio Cappellini noticed his famous Rainbow Chair, which is currently a part of the collection at the Museum of Modern Art. Since then, Norguet has been designing for major brands such as Capellini, Poltrana Frau, Cassina, Tacchini, Hermès, Tolix, Artifort, Pedrali, Ethimo, and more.

With a constant quest for accurate lines and elegant shapes, Norguet sees design as a collective and innovative endeavour. He appreciates factories, materials, techniques, and the beauty of mechanical parts and their components.

In Patrick Norguet Dialogues, he shares 25 of his works, creating a poetic and dreamlike visual that questions the relationship between the object and the body and highlights his creative process.
