Dr. Brian L. Weiss, a psychiatrist at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami, shares his remarkable experience with Catherine, a patient who, under deep hypnosis, recalled past lives. Conventional therapy having failed for a year, Catherine's journey through past life memories—including one as Aronda in ancient Egypt—revealed traumas causing her nightmares and anxiety. This transformative therapy led Dr. Weiss to explore the concept of 'life between lives,' ultimately helping cure Catherine and marking a profound shift in his career.

Dr. Weiss was skeptical when one of his patients began recalling past-life traumas. But as he began working on past-life therapy, and the patient began channeling messages about Dr. Weiss's family and dead son, his skepticism eroded. Curing his patient, Dr. Weiss embarked on a new, more meaningful phase of his career.
