Book Hero Magic formatted this description to make it easier to read. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Description

The original carved ink paintings, white-and-black poetic works by the leading Chinese contemporary artist.

Known for his series of black and white ink engraving works, which are filled with complex graving marks, Leng Bingchuan has been living in Europe for years, akin to a migratory bird travelling between Spain and China. He bridges the gap between eastern and western culture and has recently returned to canvas, applying the reconstruction and innovation of multiple media to create a new Chinese aesthetic atmosphere of immeasurability rooted in traditional culture.

When the name Leng Bingchuanβ€”literally meaning cold glacierβ€”appeared in public with those white and black poetic paintings, it became a symbol. The mention of Leng Bingchuan evokes the image of a black and white picture.

Leng's signature style is delicate, elegant, and filled with southern charm, unlike any other ink painting in history. Themes of nostalgia, adolescent ennui, lovelorn scenes under the male gaze, the Southern magical air, lust and desire, and occasionally erotic scenes are all present in his work.
