About the Author
Corita Kent (1918-1986) was one of the 20th century's most notable and respected artists. Her work has been used in a number of major advertising campaigns. She was a Professor of Art at Immaculate Heart College in Los Angeles for more than 30 years. Jan Steward is a graphic designer, photographer, and author. Her work includes the Official flag and banner designs for the 1984 Olympics, and several album covers for George Harrison's Dark Horse Records, where she served as US Art Director.
