About the Author
Fiona Janes is an international mezzo-soprano and recording artist. She is the CEO and Artistic Director of the Joan Sutherland & Richard Bonynge Foundation, and the Founder, Trustee and creator of the Elizabeth Connell Prize. She is the recipient of two Green Room Awards, the Marianne Mathy Scholarship, Remy Martin Scholarship, Vienna State Opera Award and Joan Sutherland Scholarship, and has been nominated for a Helpmann Award and Mo Award. She is an active supporter of the next generation of singers, was a contributing writer on the book Chalet Monet: Inside the Home of Dame Joan Sutherland & Richard Bonynge, and has written for Decca.Β
