Book Hero Magic crafted this summary to help describe this book. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Summary
Henry & Glenn Forever is a sharp, ultra-metal graphic novel exploring the fictionalised lives of Henry Rollins and Glenn Danzig as "friends" and "roommates." Next door, Satanist neighbours Daryl and John contribute to a story filled with extreme violence, emotional diary entries, and comical emo-meltdowns. The tale pokes fun at rock icons with absurd twists, revealing unexpected personalities and dynamics within this 66-page illustrated comic by Igloo Tornado and Tom Neely.

Henry & Glenn Forever introduces us to Henry and Glenn, who are very good 'friends.' They are also 'roommates.' Next door, Daryl and John reside. They are Satanists. What unfolds is a combination of ultra-metal violence and cryfest diary entries, cringing self-doubt, and mega-hilarious emo-meltdowns.

Who knew Danzig was such a vulnerable, self-conscious sweetie-pie? Who knew Rollins was such a caring spouse? Who knew Hall and Oates were so infernally evil - yet so considerate? Well, illustrating and writing team Igloo Tornado, featuring the super-awesome comics artist Tom Neely, did, and they delivered 66 fully-illustrated pages with it.

Book Hero Magic summarised reviews for this book. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! HOW HAS THIS BEEN REVIEWED?

Henry Rollins describes it as a hilarious satire featuring himself in a romantic relationship with Glenn Danzig, calling the depiction of neighbours Hall and Oates particularly funny (LA Weekly).

Daryl Hall acknowledges, "I wouldn't be the neighbour, but I'd be the Satanic cult!" (Rolling Stone, SPIN)

SPIN Magazine called it "a little cult-beloved slice of domestic bliss/angst," while LA Weekly notes its playful approach to personas.

Vice Magazine questions, "What if Henry Rollins and Glenn Danzig were a gay couple who lived together?" and Maximum Rocknroll suggests the bigger the fan, the bigger the laugh.

In contrast, Glenn Danzig criticises it as opportunistic and unfunny.
