We thought death was the end, turns out it's just the prologue.

RUE

I died, briefly.

Then I came back.

Now I'm determined to make the most of every minute I have left.

Only problem is I've been saddled with supervision.

Kane Deveraux is handsome, smug, and cold as a tombstone.

So why does he make me feel something more powerful than death?

KANE

As a reaper, I have helped crossover thousands of souls.

And not one of them have touched mine...until Rue Chamberlain.

She's stubborn, reckless, and maddeningly radiant.

And for this centuries-old spirit, she's a living woman that is absolutely off-limits.

If I follow the rules, I will lose her.

If I break them, I might lose everything.

Grim is a darkly funny, wickedly romantic tale of life, death, and a love that refuses to rest in peace.

About the Author

As a voice actor, Joe Arden's deeply emotional perfor- mances and character connectivity have made him a fan favorite. Over the years, he has brought hundreds of memorable characters to life. Joe's passion for the art of storytelling have propelled into more areas of creation as an author, a musical artist, and a performer. His solo writing debut, The Chameleon Effect, was shortlisted by Audible's Editorial Staff as "one of the Best Audiobooks of 2022," earned an Earphones Award, and was voted one of the "Top 100 Romance Audios of All Time."Joe's entrepreneurial spirit and thirst for creativ- ity can be seen almost daily in his original works and community engagement inside The Audio Attic. On the stage, on the page, and in the booth, Joe finds places and spaces to share his love for words, language, and human experiences. International Bestselling Author, DJ Krimmer is known for crafting emotionally immersive romance stories with grit, heart, and heat. Her books blend slow-burn in- tensity with sharp banter, found family, and characters who feel achingly real. Whether it's a dark romance set in a twisted afterlife, or a small-town love story stitched together with grief and healing, DJ writes for the read- ers who crave depth behind desire-and a love that hurts just a little before it heals. When she's not writing, you can find her crying over fictional characters in audiobooks, drinking way too much iced coffee, or plotting emotionally devastating storylines from her office with her support pup curled at her feet. She's powered by angst, redemption arcs, and readers who say, "this book ruined me-in the best way."
