About the Author

Maria Pramaggiore is Professor of Media Studies and Dean of Graduate Studies at Maynooth University in Co. Kildare, Ireland. Her publications explore topics in gender and sexuality, documentary, Irish film, and animal studies. Tom Wallis has taught film and media studies at North Carolina State University and University College Dublin. He is part of the Communications team at the University of North Carolina System Office and serves on the Selection Committee for Full Frame Documentary Film Festival in Durham, North Carolina.
