Against the brutal backdrop of 11th century England, Farewell, My Odin Vol. 3 concludes the harrowing saga of Luke—now revered as the fearsome “War-Wolf” Odin. Odin’s battle for vengeance intensified when he and King Sewyn took revenge on White-Haired Einarr’s village, and now only that one name remains on Odin’s list.

But, as he confronts the man responsible for the slaughter of his village, White-Haired Einarr, how will he cope when a mirror is held up to him? A mirror that shows he is the very same as the evil man he swore vengeance upon.

In this gripping conclusion, Luke battles not only his biggest adversary but also his greatest enemy—the vengeance burning within him. He struggles between a savage brutalism that encompasses his entire being and the humanity that yearns for inner peace, making every choice a battle. Will he be free from the pain within himself once his enemies are defeated, or will he be consumed and become the very same as the evil that took away everything from him?

Fans of intense historical thrillers and Viking lore will be captivated by Chihiro Yoshioka’s masterful storytelling and striking Seinen art style. Praised by Makoto Yukimura, creator of Vinland Saga, this finale delivers pulse-pounding action and emotional depth, expanding the epic journey of a warrior bound by blood, driven by revenge, but in search of peace.

About the Author

The writer and artist Chihiro Yoshioka would be an extremely elusive figure if it weren’t for their passion for soccer and art. As a devout soccer fan, it is no surprise that Yoshioka created Football Alchemist; a thrilling soccer story that keeps fans on their toes. They then boast their wonderful and versatile artistic and storytelling skills by completely switching genres for Farewell My Odin.
