About the Author
Marion Day lives in New Zealand's Marlborough Sounds. She is an award-winning Kiwi author who enjoys writing for children on topics she is familiar with, particularly those related to the outdoors and adventure. Marion has been shortlisted for the Joy Cowley Text Award and some of her picture books have been chosen for Scholastic Book Fairs as well as the University of Canterbury’s Better Start Literacy Approach for Year 0/1 classrooms. She is a Rural Women New Zealand Branch Member of Honour and has received national recognition for her children’s writing.
