Dr Paul Ian Cross lives in London and holds a degree in Microbiology, a Master's in Clinical Research and a PhD in science communication: presenting to non-scientists. He enjoys introducing children to the wonders of science. As a previous reluctant reader, he also aims to help them gain confidence with reading. He is the author of How To Vanquish a Virus and Bodies, Brains and Bogies for Welbeck.
Steve Brown is an accomplished illustrator who has worked with many publishers in the UK and the US, including Welbeck, Scholastic, Franklin Watts, Harper Collins, Maverick, Oxford University Press and many more.
