The textbook also considers the Bail and Release from Custody (Scotland) Act 2023 and the Victims, Witnesses and Justice Reform (Scotland) Bill.
Furthermore, it reflects the changes made in relation to what constitutes corroboration by the High Court in Reference by His Majesty's Advocate v CLB 2023 SCCR 340.
