The landscape is not only endlessly varied, it is also constantly changing, and this is what makes it such a fascinating and challenging subject. Using a fabulous collection of landscape photography, Peter Watson's latest book, Composition in the Landscape, gives you both the inspiration and knowledge you need to compose stunning digital photographs.
Starting with an explanation of what makes a good landscape for photography, the book guides you through picking the best viewpoint, using the light to your advantage, and creating depth and impact.
Author: Peter Watson is a contributing photographer to several image libraries, and his work appears extensively in books, magazines, and calendars, as well as on greeting cards and in exhibitions. In addition to landscapes, Peter undertakes commissioned work for clients, primarily focusing on architectural photography.
He has written several other books, including two for GMC: Light in the Landscape - a Photographer's Year (2001) and The Field Guide to Landscape Photography (2002); three for Photographers' Institute Press: Capturing the Light (2005), Reading the Landscape (2009), and Seasons of Landscape (2010); and one for Ammonite: Views Across the Landscape (2013).
