Collage Fantastique! is a collection of 1,000+ images for you to cut out and stick down in your own creations. Collage is an inherently queer artform—just ask the queer artists who created it. Activity books and crafts are pursuits that queer people turn to for mindful escapism, allowing them to create new worlds or even new drag personas.
Of course, the book includes images of collage essentials like plants, cats, goldfish, and skyscrapers, but it also features joyful, sexy, and symbolic LGBTQ+ imagery—from green carnations to suggestive flowers, pink triangles to violets, and, of course, rainbows to men and women wearing very little whatsoever.

About the Author
Peter Platel is a queer artist from Belgium who is continuously looking for new and different ways to express his creativity. He is most known for his analogue collages, which challenge the traditional rules of gender, life, family, ecology, and thereby gently, humorously, sometimes even brutally, shift your focus and start a conversation. His work channels his concerns regarding sex and gender, gender as a construct, gender inequality, discrimination, ephemerality, transience, religion and violence. Issues that have always touched him profoundly and can never be addressed enough. His work has been shown in galleries in Belgium, The Netherlands, and the UK.
