Rebecca Donnelly is the author of several books for young readers, including the middle-grade nonfiction title Total Garbage: A Messy Dive into Trash, Waste, and Our World and the Green Earth Award-longlisted title Green Machine: The Slightly Gross Truth about Turning Your Food Scraps into Green Energy. She has an MA in Humanities and a Master's in She holds master's degrees in the Humanities and Library and Information Science. When she's not writing or researching, she's probably hiking somewhere or baking something. rebeccadonnellywrites.com Mercè López is a children's book illustrator based in Mallorca, Spain. Her earliest memories are with a paint brush or pen in her hands while spending time with her sisters. Born and raised in Barcelona, Mercè studied illustration at Llotja Art School.
