Gaul was divided into three parts. No, four parts — for one small village of indomitable Gauls still held out against the Roman invaders.

Asterix and The Banquet is the fifth book in the series. The Romans build a barricade around the village, prompting Asterix and Obelix to demonstrate their resistance by embarking on a journey around the entire country, collecting local specialities along the way.
