She uses colored pencils, gouache, and watercolor along with classic techniques and detailed line drawing to create art that encourages introspection and mindfulness. Cara has a B.A. in art history and psychology from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, and an M.A. in social work from the University at Albany.
