Description
Amazing Grace by Mary Hoffman tells the inspiring story of Grace, a young girl who has a passion for acting out stories. Sometimes Grace takes the leading role, and at other times, she becomes 'a cast of thousands'.
When her school decides to perform Peter Pan, Grace eagerly wants to play Peter. However, her classmates insist that Peter was a boy and, moreover, not black. This discouragement doesn't dampen Grace's spirit because her Ma and Nana reassure her that she can be anything she wants if she puts her mind to it.
