A Sister Like You by Sarah Hagger-Holt tells the heartwarming story of friendship, family, and sisterhood. Ella and Ari always knew they had a sister...they just didn't know it was each other. This delightful tale comes from the award-winning author Sarah Hagger-Holt.
When Ella and Ari start at St Hilda's secondary school, they both feel alone. However, their paths cross at the auditions for the choir, and they quickly become friends.
The revelation that they are both adopted and, in fact, sisters, turns their worlds upside down. While Ari is excited by this discovery, Ella doesn't know how to respond. The differences between Ari's laid-back dads and Ella's old-fashioned Mum only add to the tension.
The situation becomes more challenging when Ella’s Grandma falls ill suddenly. In her time of need, Ella leans on Ari for support. As they navigate these challenges, the two families decide to make the relationship work, finding harmony together despite their differences.
