WAR. POLITICS. REVOLUTION.

THE AGE OF MADNESS HAS ARRIVED . . .

In A Little Hatred by Joe Abercrombie, we are ushered into a world on the brink of an industrial revolution, where the old ways clash violently with the new. The novel sweeps us onto the battlefields of the North, where the next generation of would-be heroes struggle against the same perennial mistakes made by their predecessors. Amidst this chaos, the age of the machine begins to eclipse magic, yet the lure and dread of the supernatural persist. Glimpsing the future through the curse of the Long Eye offers tantalising flashes of what might be, but changing destiny proves an elusive task.

The industrial chimneys rise, casting long shadows over cities teeming with newfound opportunities. Even monarchs find themselves subdued by the unstoppable force of economic power. As the rich grow richer, discontent festers in the slums, threatening to erupt into violent rebellion that not even the vast fortunes of the elite can quell.

Introducing a cast of unforgettable new characters, A Little Hatred begins a new First Law trilogy that will grip you from the very first page...
