Didier Fassin is the James D. Wolfensohn Professor of SocialScience at the Institute for Advanced Study at PrincetonUniversity. Trained as a physician in internal medicine and publichealth, Fassin dedicated his early research to medicalanthropology, before developing a domain he terms political andmoral anthropology.
