Home Is Further Away than the Lightning explores the unique fusion of poetry and entrepreneurship in modern China. Zhang Chunhua, a CEO and poet writing under the pen name Youfou Shidai (Age of UFO), crafts verses that drift through space and time, reflecting on humanity's desires, sterility, and peculiar metaphors such as 'thinking fish' and 'categories of rubbish'. This collection highlights the intersection of culture, business, and poetic imagination.

Book Hero Magic formatted this description to make it easier to read. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Description

A long civilisation produces poets and entrepreneurs alike. But a long civilisation like China produces poet-entrepreneurs and entrepreneur-poets, or even entrepoetreneurs. That's a major difference between China and Australia.

Zhang Chunhua is such a poet on top of being a company CEO. You can't beat that, can you?

As signalled by his pen name, Youfou Shidai (Age of UFO), Zhang Chunhua sets his poetry adrift into space, away from humanity, with lingering glances at its mathematics of desire and coming sterility, its 'thinking fish' and 'categories of rubbish'.
