A multiple-award winner, widely published at home and abroad, and translated into many languages, Xiao Xiao is known for her sharp take on China's human rights record.
Her poetry is as piercingly penetrating as it is personal, with vignettes of life portrayed as vividly and evocatively as she does in her oil paintings.
Living in Seclusion exemplifies her unique style and powerful expression, capturing the essence of human experience with both words and images.
