Delve into the breathtaking world of Middle-earth as vividly brought to life by the wondrous landscapes of New Zealand with The Hobbit Trilogy Location Guidebook by Ian Brodie. This beautifully crafted tome acts as a portal into the enchanting realms experienced in the beloved trilogy, guiding readers through the awe-inspiring settings that served as the backdrop for Bilbo Baggins' extraordinary journey alongside a company of dwarves.

This guidebook is an essential companion for fans eager to explore the connections between J.R.R. Tolkien's masterful storytelling and the striking visuals of the cinematic adaptation. It paints a vivid picture of the cinematic evolution from the cosy, rustic warmth of the Shire to the vastness of the Lonely Mountain, without revealing the thrilling twists and turns of Bilbo's adventures.

The book features stunning full-colour photography that captures the heart and soul of New Zealand's diverse and captivating landscapes, providing a breathtaking glimpse into the principal movie set locations seen throughout the trilogy. Award-winning photographer Ian Brodie's more than 100 exquisite images delicately encapsulate the country's natural beauty, offering an armchair exploration of some of the world's most mesmerising vistas.

Richly supplemented by official behind-the-scenes images and intimate contributions from the likes of Sir Peter Jackson and Andy Serkis, the guidebook delves into the creative processes that brought Middle-earth to life on screen. The personal insights and anecdotes from the cast and crew provide readers with a deeper understanding of the commitment and passion that drove the making of these legendary films.

Whether you're a film aficionado, an adventurous traveller planning a visit to the lush meadows and rugged terrains of New Zealand, or simply an admirer of Tolkien’s universe, The Hobbit Trilogy Location Guidebook provides an enriching journey into the fantastical world of Middle-earth. This guide is more than just a book; it’s an invitation to uncover the magic behind the movies and discover the real-world wonders of a land that has captured the imagination of millions.
