Messensee explores the evolving problem of "space and spaces", as the prize-winning artist Jürgen Messensee (born 1936 in Vienna) describes it. Firmly established within the Austrian contemporary art scene, his work grapples with questions relating to our existence and what we perceive as our existence. The volume includes his exploration of time and space, alongside his interpretations and meditations on these themes. This book is an impressive glimpse at Jürgen Messensee’s philosophy and way of thinking.
