Can a burrowing owl – who can't fly – and a snowy owl – who can't run – ever be friends?

Owls Are Cool by Timothy Knapman is the delightful narrative of Oscar, an owl who prides himself on being exceptionally cool. In Oscar's world, cool owls don't fly—they run. ZOOOOOOOOOM!

But everything changes when snowy owl Reggie makes an entrance, swooping and swooshing through the sky. Oscar isn't impressed at first, but an unexpected event occurs when Reggie crashes into a tree. This incident leads Oscar to a revelation that maybe they aren’t so different after all.

This funny and heartwarming story not only celebrates the uniqueness of each individual but also introduces young readers to the fascinating world of the burrowing owl, highlighting their spectacular legs and intricate burrows.
