Tim Waitai-Tipene, (NgΔti Kuri/NgΔti Whatua) β was adopted into the Waitai-Tipene whanau as a toddler. He was raised in two cultures, NZ MΔori and NZ European. Tim is the author of more than thirteen books, five of which have won awards, and writes for younger readers of all ages.
