About the Author

Susie Hodge is a UK author who has written widely on art, art history and art techniques. She has published over 100 books, includingThe Short Story of Art, Why Your Five Year Old Could Not Have Done That: Modern Art ExplainedandModern Art Explained.JENNY BOWERSis one tenth of the UK based illustration collective Peepshow. She studied Illustration and Animation at Manchester Metropolitan University and then did an MA in Animation at the Royal College of Art graduating in 1999. She joined Peepshow in 2003 has worked collaboratively with Peepshow members and individually on commercial and self initiated projects ever since. Her work all starts with a pencil, a paint brush and a tube of black paint. Her clients are many and varied, encompassing editorial work, packaging illustration, and textile design. Clients include AOL, Clinique, Kate Spade, Roxy, Elle Decoration, The Guardian, howies, Samsung, Waitrose, and The Victoria and Albert Museum.
