An anthology of the hugely popular Megg and Mogg characters taking Tumblr by storm - in a re-imagining of the beloved children's series, Megg and Mogg find themselves struggling to cope with poverty and depression.
Megahex introduces us to Megg, a depressed, drug-addicted witch, and her black cat, Mogg. Their circle includes Owl, an anthropomorphised owl, and Werewolf Jones, with whom they often spend time.
These characters grapple with various struggles such as depression, drug use, sexuality, poverty, lack of work, and lack of ambition. They also navigate complex feelings about each other, all of which unfold in ways that have turned Megg and Mogg into sensations on Hanselmann's Girl-Mountain Tumblr.
Book Hero Magic summarised reviews for this book. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! HOW HAS THIS BEEN REVIEWED?
Megahex subverts expectations by blending a seemingly stoner-comedy style with profoundly heavy themes. It offers readers intimate access to the complex mind of Simon Hanselmann, as remarked by Shelly Atomic in Comics Bulletin.
