Megg & Mogg reach new highs (and lows) in the next instalment of Simon Hanselmann's wild, acclaimed comics series.
Owl is gone, Werewolf Jones has moved in, and everything as Megg and Mogg know it begins to fall apart. Hanselmann's comic premise of his previous graphic novels—eternally stoned, slacker roommates—stretches at the seams as his characters reflect the psychological toll that their years of unsustainable, determined insouciance and self-medication has inflicted.
Bad Gateway delves into the darker undercurrents of these characters' lives, pushing the series into more poignant and introspective territory, while maintaining Hanselmann's signature style.
Book Hero Magic summarised reviews for this book. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! HOW HAS THIS BEEN REVIEWED?
Astoundingly well-crafted and punishingly heartfelt, this graphic novel resonates with readers facing their own struggles. Hanselmann's work blends the mean with the tender, delivering some of the most compelling comics in stoner comedy, serving as a raw mirror to challenging times. Recognised as one of the most gifted cartoonists alive, his storytelling is both chillingly real and deeply affecting.
