Grandparents make the world a little softer, a little kinder, and a little warmer.

For most of us, news of a grandchild's impending arrival will send us into a dizzying array of emotions. No single feeling fits the bill... How could it? The birth of a grandchild signals a new stage of your life, a new beginning.

Grandparents today live very different lives from those of a generation ago: they are healthier, busier and may even still be working when their first grandchild comes into their life. But the arrival of a new grandchild can open up an exciting new chapter for you, from being the go-to babysitter in the little one's life, to the fun older figure they look forwarding to visiting, or even the long-distance grandparent who keeps in touch via emails, letters, photographs and presents. Whichever way you choose to do it, becoming a grandparent will be one of the most challenging, rewarding, uplifting and important things you will ever do.

This little book is the perfect gift for every grandparent, whether they are about to welcome their first grandchild or an experienced hand juggling multiple little ones. Packed full of inspiring quotes and fun, creative and practical advice to help create life-changing experiences for both grandparent and grandchildren, Things To Do Now That You're A Grandparent is the book for you.

Within these pages you'll discover:

- Advice on building great relationships

- Creative new ways to connect with the grandkids and support their parents

- Tips for entertaining the rugrats

- How to make the most of the time spent with the grandchildren, no matter their age

Also available in the series:

Things to Do Now That You're a Dad, Things To Do Now That You're a Mum, Things To Do Now That You're Retired, Things to Do Now That You're 40, Things to Do Now That You're 50, Things to Do Now That You're 60, and Things to Do Now That You're 70
