The White Circle

The White Circle by Oliver Bottini follows Chief Inspector Louise Boni of the Freiburg criminal police as she receives intelligence about two guns purchased from a Russian criminal network. Desperate to prevent a fatal act of violence, Boni swiftly investigates the situation.

Boni quickly identifies the vehicle used to collect the weapons, but encounters a setback as the car's owner presents a watertight alibi. The driver that night was found to be Ricky Janisch, a neo-Nazi and member of the extreme right-wing group, the Southwest Brigade.

Boni and her team place Janisch under surveillance, uncovering a network of others belonging to the extreme right. As their probe deepens, they discover shocking connections leading to a potentially more powerful neo-Nazi network, willing to stop at nothing.

The uncertainty of an imminent attack looms as the perpetrators remain one step ahead, and the target remains unknown. Boni races against time to pinpoint the victim, but it may already be too late...

The sixth and final instalment of Bottini's acclaimed Black Forest Investigations brings the series to a shattering close.
