Kiss of the Rose Princess, Vol. 6 by Aya Shouoto introduces Anise Yamamoto, a young woman who suddenly finds herself surrounded by four handsome knights. Each knight can be summoned with a kiss using a card she possesses.

Anise has been warned by her father that removing the rose choker he gave her would result in a terrible punishment. However, fate intervenes when she loses the choker after being struck by a mysterious bat-like being falling from the sky.

With the rose choker gone, Anise is granted the power to summon these knights. Yet, with this newfound ability, she must confront a pressing question: what is her true quest?

As a high school student and the “Rose Princess,” Anise learns that the Gray Rose is actually Mutsuki’s older brother, whom Mutsuki killed in the past. As Mutsuki slowly regains his memories, a mysterious plot unfolds involving two Dark Stalkers who have intentions concerning Anise and her role as the Rose Princess.
