About the Author
Ian Peate, RN, OBE, FRCN, Hon DUniv(BNU), is a Visiting Professor at Northumbria University and Buckinghamshire New University, and a Senior Clinical Fellow at the University of Hertfordshire. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of the British Journal of Nursing and the Consultant Editor of the Journal of Paramedic Practice and the International Journal for Advancing Practice.
Carl Clare, RN, is a Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing at the University of Hertfordshire with published work in cardiac care and pathophysiology. His expertise lies in caring for patients with long-term illness, physiology, sociology, and cardiac care.
Anthony Wheeldon, PhD, RN, is an Associate Subject Group Lead for Adult Nursing at the University of Hertfordshire. Heβs an expert in cardiorespiratory nursing, anatomy, physiology, respiratory assessment, nurse education, and the application of bioscience in nursing practice.
