Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Vol. 13 by Koyoharu Gotouge follows Tanjiro as he embarks on the perilous path of a Demon Slayer to save his sister and avenge his family.

In Taisho-era Japan, the kindhearted Tanjiro Kamado makes a living selling charcoal. However, his peaceful life is shattered when a demon slaughters his entire family. His little sister, Nezuko, is the only survivor, but she has been transformed into a demon herself. Determined, Tanjiro sets out on a dangerous journey to find a way to restore his sister to normal and defeat the demon who destroyed his life.

The strange shape-shifting demons Hatengu and Gyokko launch an attack on Tanjiro and his friends in the hidden village of swordsmiths. The Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito, confronts the demons, but he needs assistance from Tanjiro and another Demon Slayer, Genya. The challenge intensifies as they face two upper-rank demons while battling a foe capable of splitting into four separate bodies and regenerating almost instantly.
