After God, Vol. 8 explores a world thirty years after the gods reduced Tokyo to rubble. Survivors are left to grapple with a seemingly impossible question—how do you kill a god?

Japan has been invaded by gods, leaving death and destruction in their wake. With entire cities now classified as uninhabitable danger zones, Anti-God researcher Sachiyuki Tokinaga is determined to discover a way to defeat these deities and save humanity. A chance encounter with high schooler Waka Kamikura may just change the fate of the world forever.

Tokinaga's condition is worsening daily, and doctors are unable to help him. When Tokinaga learns that Obikawa can create the medicine he needs, one question remains: will Obikawa's new drug finally cure him, or will Tokinaga end up following the destructive path of addiction like Volov?
