Author: Sandra Kendell is a visual artist who has a great affinity with the Australian environment. Her first book, Quoll, explored the plight of the Quoll and sold over 6,000 copies in Australia. Sandra grew up on a farm with a bush block at the back, where she first encountered some of the animals in this story. Camping holidays further developed her love of native animals and the environment. She now lives in the Northern Territory, and her favourite thing is 'going bush' with her partner and two daughters.
