A beautiful new collection of poetry from one of Britain's best-loved poets.
From 'Adultery in Isolation' to 'After You. No, After You' to 'Seaside Staycation,' a new collection from one of Britain's best-loved poets. Safety in Numbers sees Roger McGough bringing his inimitable voice to subjects light and dark, relationships old and new, and the slippery, strange, and surreal nature of recent times.
Alight with humour, wit, wisdom, and feeling, this collection features the finest poetry with the lightest touch from a poet who has captured the imagination of readers for decades.
Book Hero Magic summarised reviews for this book. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! HOW HAS THIS BEEN REVIEWED?
Sparky, thoughtful, inventive, and fun, this collection is praised for its witty observations and clever imagery. Critics from Buzz Magazine and the Herald highlight McGough's skill in capturing the spirit of modern life with humour and energy, while The Times hails him as a true original whose work has enriched generations. The book features sharp aphorisms and a keen eye for the magical in the mundane.
