Once Upon a Snowstorm is a wordless picture book by an exceptionally talented illustrator and animator, following in the footsteps of The Snowman.

The story unfolds with a father and his son, who live alone in a cosy cabin in the woods. One day, they are separated in the beautifully falling snow. The boy becomes lost and falls asleep. Upon waking, he finds himself surrounded by blinking eyes—a rabbit, a fox, an owl, and all manner of other creatures have gathered around him!

With a bear hug, he and the woodland animals become the best of friends. However, the boy soon misses his dad, and the animals help guide him back home. The father opens his heart and home, allowing nature and love to envelop their previously lonely existence.
