About the Author
Dr Bethan Davies is an Associate Lecturer in the School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Roehampton. Her areas of research include early modern drama and performance, history of the body and gender studies.Alice Lindstrom originally studied Classics and Philosophy, graduating with a Bachelor of Humanities from the University of Adelaide. Shortly afterward, Alice moved to Sydney to complete a Bachelor of Design at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney. After working briefly as a theatre designer in Sydney, Alice returned to the University of Adelaide and completed a Masters of Museum Studies and a Graduate Diploma in Art History. Alice now lives in Melbourne, Australia and is an artist and freelance illustrator. She works primarily in paper collage, using traditional cut and paste techniques, painting and preparing paper beforehand, before cutting and assembling it on watercolour paper or board to create highly detailed, intricate and textured illustrations. A Stage Full of Shakespeare Stories is her first children's book.
