Conquer portable strobes and hot shoe flash to create extraordinary portraits!

Whether you use small, portable strobes or hot shoe flash, flash photography has always been daunting for most photographers. Without a system and workflow for thinking about and working with flash, you can easily end up feeling stuck, or you end up flailing—randomly changing settings, positions, and modifiers—and hoping for the best. It's not surprising that this leads to failure and frustration.

Enter bestselling author Roberto Valenzuela and the Picture Perfect Flash system, which he created to empower you to finally conquer your flash and create photographs that fulfil your intention and vision. There are two key components to this system, which Roberto calls FACES and NAME.

About the Author

ROBERTO VALENZUELA is a photographer based in Beverly Hills, California. As a member of the prestigious Canon Explorers of Light group, Roberto is considered to be one of the most influential photographers in the world. Roberto developed his unique teaching style by following the same rigorous regimen he created as a professional concert classical guitarist and educator before becoming a photographer. He believes that it is not talent but deliberate practice that is at the core of skill and achievement. He is author of the bestselling books Picture Perfect Practice, Picture Perfect Posing, Picture Perfect Lighting, Wedding Storyteller, Volumes 1 and 2, and The Successful Professional Photographer. He speaks at events, including his own The Photo Creators conference, and teaches private workshops on posing, lighting, and wedding photography worldwide.
