NoNonsense: The Money Crisis offers a history of money, examining what's gone wrong and exploring ideas to put people back in charge. Bankers and speculators may build castles in the air, but when they crash down, ordinary people are left to pick up the tab.
The book explains how we've made such a mess of our money system, starting from the earliest banks and extending to complex financial instruments like collateralised debt obligations. The author suggests a framework for a fairer financial world, detailing practical ideas, necessary regulations, and real-life examples.
