About the Author

Nilanjana Roy spent most of her adult life writing about humans before realising that animals were much more fun; The Wildings is her first novel. She also writes for The New York Times, Granta, Al-Jazeera, The Huffington Post and the BBC. She has worked extensively on free speech, censorship and feminist issues in India.
