Description
A beautifully illustrated collection of 5-minute bedtime stories about the giant dinosaurs, such as T. rex, Stegosaurus, and Triceratops, that once roamed our planet.
The prehistoric world was full of secrets... In this charming anthology of children's stories by Alicia Klepeis, readers will meet epic prehistoric creatures. In one story, a lonely Triceratops is looking for love, while another looks at an elderly Brachiosaurus who is reminiscing about his days as a youngster. Kids will be thrilled as T. rexes try to stay afloat during a summer storm and marvel at a pterosaur who finds an oasis in the sand dunes!
Other dinosaurs in the stories include Spinosaurus, Velociraptor, and Diplodocus. Featuring tales from the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods and stunning illustrations by Gavin Scott.
Each story in Secrets of the Dinosaurs is based on real discoveries made by palaeontologists, and at the end of each tale, readers will find out more about the science that inspired the story. So as they drift off to sleep, they will know a little bit more about the prehistoric world.
The cover features a timeless design with silver foil and a cloth texture, making this book the perfect gift for dinosaur-mad kids.
Discover more brilliant bedtime stories in this series, including Secrets of the Forest, Secrets of the Ocean, and Secrets of the Stars.
