Coraline by Neil Gaiman is a bewitching classic children's novel that masterfully blends elements of fantasy and horror. When young Coraline Jones moves into a new flat with her parents, she discovers a mysterious door that leads to an eerily similar yet sinister version of her own world. This new world is inhabited by her "Other Mother" and "Other Father," who have black-button eyes, papery skin, and an unsettling desire for Coraline to stay with them forever.

Determined to return to her real life, Coraline must confront terrifying challenges and use her wit and bravery to outsmart the Other Mother. Along the way, she encounters peculiar neighbours like Miss Spink and Miss Forcible, who see signs of danger in tea leaves, and a mysteriously watchful cat that becomes an unexpected ally.

This deliciously creepy, gripping novel offers a haunting reading experience, enhanced by Chris Riddell's spellbinding illustrations that bring the story's eerie atmosphere to life. Neil Gaiman's imaginative narrative is further complemented by an exclusive new introduction by the author, giving readers deeper insights into the making of this modern classic.

"I was enthralled ... a marvellously strange and scary book." – Philip Pullman

Rich with vivid imagery and unforgettable characters, Coraline is a tale that delves into themes of courage, curiosity, and the power of love and family. Guaranteed to captivate and haunt readers of all ages, this is a must-read for anyone who enjoys a touch of the extraordinary in their tales.
