This is not a book. It's a plane... it's a dinosaur... and so much more!

Dive into the book that isn't a book and interact with the pages to create exciting new objects and worlds. Fly the book like an aeroplane, wear it like a hat, turn it into a monster mask, transform it into a roaring dinosaur or sail it like a pirate ship! With bright, fantastical illustrations from Katie Vernon, there is nothing normal about this picture book!

This playful picture book includes flaps and die-cuts, creating an entertaining and interactive reading experience that children will be actively involved in. This fantastic playbook will unlock and boost a child's imagination, encouraging all children to love and enjoy books.

This is an exciting collaboration with the play experts at Great Ormond Street Hospital and Happy Yak, who have created a range of upbeat books that transport kids to magical places through the power of play and imagination.

About the Author

Mike Henson grew up in Zimbabwe, but after bobbing around the world, has ended up on a little island off the south coast of England. Mike and his wife have three children, who they suspect might be monkeys, and secret plans to steal a baby hippo (it hasn't happened yet-and probably won't-ever!). Mike loves to create-stories, pictures, songs and mess in the kitchen. As an author, illustrator, and designer his main workspace is a little caravan in the garden, crammed full of books, sketch pads, pencils, and other nonsense.

Katie Vernon is an illustrator whose heart belongs in the mountains. She lives in Flagstaff, Arizona, and shares her studio with a large cricket that sings all day long! She is a trend leader and a master watercolorist, and winner of the 2015 Lilla Rogers Global Talent Search. Her inspiration comes from being a florist, working with alpacas, and living on a bus. Her happy place is either hiking with her family or drinking seltzer water in her studio.
